Abstract
Offshore is an activity carried out in offshore waters, involving exploration, drilling, or management of natural resources in the ocean, such as oil and gas, mining of minerals on the seabed, or management of fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Offshore vessels are special vessels for oil exploration and construction on the high seas. Offshore vessels are also used for construction on the high seas and management of other marine resources. One solution taken to improve the efficiency of ship service and overcome ship delay problems so that loading and unloading activities can be started immediately is to change the method of completing ship documents from manual to online systems. Many technical problems are faced in terms of using online systems. The data used by the author in compiling this paper is qualitative data. Qualitative data is a research work mechanism that is guided by non-statistical or non-mathematical subjective assessments, where the measurements used in this study are not numbers and scores. Simply put, it can be said that what is meant by qualitative data is developing an understanding of individuals and events by taking into account the relevant context in data collection. Along with the development of very sophisticated technology, the arrival and departure services of ships have begun to use an online-based electronic portal, namely inaportnet, which of course simplifies and shortens the arrival and departure agency services of ships, and can access all service needs directly without face-to-face with officers. All activities of the arrival and departure service process of ships can now be accessed on inaportnet for the smooth running of agents in carrying out their activities and duties in agency ships.
