Abstract
One of the supporting parties for sea transportation is the Sea Freight Expedition (EMKL). EMKL is a company that handles documents and cargo that will be transported or departed from ships. Global competition is one of the factors where companies not only need employees who are skilled in their fields but also employees who are willing to work diligently so they can achieve optimal results. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the performance of PT. Universal Tunggal Logistics employees. This research uses quantitative research methods using a sample of 65 respondents, employees of PT. Universal Tunggal Logistics. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, literature studies, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression technique which is first tested through a questionnaire test (validity and reliability) and classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation). The results of the analysis using the statistical tools of the SPSS V.26 program obtained a multiple linear regression equation: Y=0.935 + 0.302.X1 + 0.259.X2 + 0.296.X3 + μ From the multiple linear regression equation, it can be seen that the variable that has the most dominant influence on employee performance is the Work Motivation variable with a regression coefficient of 0.536. With the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R square), the results obtained were 79.5%, which means that employee performance is influenced by the variables Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Work Environment by 79.5% and other factors that influence Employee Performance are 20.5%. Thus, the research results show that work motivation, work discipline and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Universal Tunggal Logistics.
