Abstract
I wrote this discussion during my Land Practice from a shipping company, PT. Viva Samudera Perkasa, namely processing Clearance In and Clearance Out documents and operating applications and communication with the parties involved for ships that will berth and unload or load goods at Maspion Gresik port. The purpose of this research is to find out and explain the Clearance In and Clearance Out procedures for Tanker ships at Maspion Gresik port and to find out the relevant agencies in ship agency operations at Maspion Gresik port. The methods used for data collection are observation methods, interviews, literature studies and documentation. As a shipping agent, you must know the Ship Clearance In and Clearance Out procedures, because this activity is the core operational activity of shipping companies operating in the agency sector. Tanker ship documents required for Clearance In and Clearance Out procedures include ship documents (documents that are always on board the Tanker ship), loading or unloading documents and agencies involved in the agency process at Maspion Gresik Port, including: Harbormaster's Office and Gresik Class II Port Authority, Customs and Excise / Customs Office, PT.
