Abstract
The problem of fishing boat fires often occurs in our region, Indonesia, and in general, many of these are caused by external and internal factors. Likewise, incidents of burning of fishing boats have given us a lot of experience as actors in the fields we will later be involved in. Work safety starts when humans start working. It is important for actors in this field to always carry out drills/training which are useful for suppressing or minimizing undesirable things like today. It is also important that equipment must be prepared, for example APAR preparation, because factors other than the occurrence of human error itself are the basic materials for making fishing boats, some The big one is wood which is actually a flammable material at level 1. One aspect of general safety is work safety. This research aims to determine the factors that caused the fishing boat fire at Jongor Port in Tegal which occurred due to an electrical short circuit that occurred in the KM. Kurnia Jaya freezer.
