Abstract

Interest is a feeling of preference and interest in a thing or activity, without anyone telling you to. Feelings of pleasure arise if the activity or activity you are interested in is paid attention to continuously. For this reason, PT. Pelni Tanjung Priok Jakarta Branch is committed to continuing to improve convenience, passenger confidence and service quality. However, the influence of convenience, trust and service quality on interest in ticket bookings is not always in accordance with the targets set each year. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of interest in easy access to information (X1), passenger trust (X2), and service quality (X3) on interest in ordering tickets (Y). The analysis technique in collecting this data is using observation methods, interviews, literature study methods, questionnaires and documentation. Next, the data obtained was then analyzed by multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 26 application. From the results of the multiple linear regression equation, it was found that the variable ease of access to information had the greatest influence on interest in ordering KM ship tickets. Kelud The regression formulation in this research is as follows: Y = 1.296 + 0.380 X1 + 0.271 X2 + 0.081 X3 + µ From the results of the multiple linear regression equation, the effect is that the variable ease of access to information (X1) has (t count 4.040 > t table 1.98447), the passenger trust variable ( ) has (t count 2.192 > 1.98447). Meanwhile, for the value of Adjusted R2 = 0.491, this means 49.1% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y), namely interest in ordering tickets, which is explained by the independent variables, namely ease of access to information, passenger trust and service quality, the remaining 100% - 49.1% = 50, 9% was influenced by other variables outside the research. Conclusion The results of this study are expected to be a reference for future researchers, and for future researchers to test this hypothesis again by developing other variables that can increase interest in booking tickets.
