Abstract
Port Operator Unit is a government institution al the pon as an authority that carries out the functions of regulating, controlling. and supervising port activities. and providing port services for ports that have not been commercially operared., ship measurement is an important step in measuring ships for the issuance of small passes. of course, measurement equipment is needed to facilitate activities in the field and smooth the issuance of small passes. the purpose of observing and writing this paper is as a means of knowledge about the procedure for issuing small passes required The method used in making observations is by conducting observations. interviews. and documentation which result in conclusions in providing firm instructions and infonnation co employees for routinely checking measuring instruments before measuring ships for smoethness in the issuance of Small Pas.
