Abstract
As Klaten Regency develops, the population increases. The increase in population will also affect transportation needs which will continue to increase, indirectly it will also give rise to several problems that need attention, such as the problem of traffic accidents for motorcyclists. This research aims to determine vehicle conditions, driver behavior, and road conditions partially influence motorbike traffic accidents on Jalan Solo – Jogja, Klaten Regency. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) software. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely incidental sampling. The results of this research show that the variables of vehicle condition, driver behavior, and road conditions partially influence public interest. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation: Y = -0.979 + 0.380 .X1 + 0.330 .X2 + 0.34 .X3 + µ. From the multiple linear regression equation it can be seen that the regression coefficient value of the vehicle condition variable (X1) is 0.380 which has a positive sign and the calculated t value is 4.878 and t table is 1.66023, the regression coefficient value of the driver behavior variable (X2) is 0.330 which has a positive sign and the value t count is 4.419 and t table is 1.66023, the regression coefficient value of the road condition variable (X3) is 0.341 which has a positive sign and the t count value is 4.588 and t table is 1.66023. The regression coefficient value (Adjusted R Square) was obtained which states that the variables of vehicle condition, driver behavior, road conditions have an influence on traffic accidents by 65.4%. This means that other factors not examined in this study have an effect on the traffic accident variable by (100% - 65.4% = 34.6%). Key words : vehicle condition, driver behavior, road conditions, traffic accidents
