Abstract
The main discussion in this paper is to find out the procedure for handling damaged cargo by checking each unit, factors that can cause damage to the cargo, including those caused by the container being used having a leak, obstacles that are often encountered when handling the cargo. and the solution needed to deal with various factors that cause damage to cargo in containers is to start by paying attention to the process of arranging and placing containers. Based on data collection carried out during data practice (Prada), the author used several methods, namely by observation at PT Rimo Transport Expressindo, interviews and document analysis. The conclusions of this research paper include starting to understand procedures for handling damaged cargo by checking each unit, factors that can cause damage to cargo, including those caused by the container being used experiencing a leak, causing damage, and obstacles that are often encountered. when handling cargo and the solutions needed to deal with various factors that cause damage to cargo in containers, starting from paying attention to the process of arranging and placing containers.
