Abstract
The Loading and Unloading Company (PBM) PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Tanjung Intan Cilacap branch is a company that includes loading and unloading activities. In every activity that takes place at the Loading and Unloading Company (PBM), there are stevedoring, cargodoring and receiving/delivery orders. In the stevedoring activity there are several obstacles that hinder the carrying out of loading activities. These obstacles include feeling the equipment, due to natural factors, and waiting for the truck. In this case the author observes using qualitative methods, namely a type of research that involves conducting in-depth interviews with selected sources. Data collection uses primary data in the form of interviews and observations, secondary data in the form of documents from several related parties. The research results show that the clinker loading activity uses a direct system, the loading process is taking the cargo using a truck from the goods owner's warehouse then taking it to the dock to be transported onto the ship and put into the hold, the time required for loading from the dock to the ship is 7 minutes in each transport truck. Some of the obstacles to loading activities include equipment congestion such as ship cranes and natural factors, namely rain. Based on the obstacles that occur, the Loading and Unloading Company (PBM) is the implementer of the activity and is responsible for all activity reports and daily clinker loading results so that the company needs to improve coordination with the ship or human resources in charge of the clinker loading activity process.
