Abstract
The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as referred to in Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2008 concerning Shipping is an archipelagic State characterized by an archipelago united by a very large territorial waters with boundaries, rights and enforcement determined by law. The purpose of this writing is to provide general knowledge and specifically regarding MV arrival and departure services. ABRAHAM M dry bulk cargo carrier (KCL fertilizer). The method used in writing this paper uses data on observation objects, as well as collecting documents and data related to MV Arrival and Departure Service activities. The results of the observation are that travel companies must follow ship arrival and departure procedures which have become standard operational procedures (SOP) with the legal basis of relevant laws, and there are parties involved in the ship arrival and departure process broadly divided into two types of parties. - Relevant parties, namely Government Agencies and private parties, the documents required for ship arrival and departure activities include Ship Documents, Ship Arrival and Departure Documents and the original Sailing Approval Letter. The process begins with the arrival of the ship in Dumai waters, guided by the pilot until it docks at Pier C PT PELINDO I DUMAI. Then a meeting was held by the One- Stop Service Center (PPSA) which was tasked with combining plans and determining the use of moorings for stacking goods as well as delivering or receiving goods or cargo by involving shipping companies or agents and Loading and Unloading Companies (PBM). The process of unloading dry bulk cargo (KCL fertilizer) is carried out using unloading equipment such as: crane, excavator, wheel loader, forklift, grab, hopper, sling. After the unloading is carried out, the cargo will be taken to the storage warehouse/silo using a fleet of trucks. Then the final stage is that the cargo in the storage warehouse will be taken to its destination. Keywords: KCL fertilizer, documents.
