Abstract
This paper discuss the damage causes and maintenance of the SUBMERSIBLE CUTTER PUMP VEXL-20 centrifugal pomp to overcome tidal water at Tanjung Emas Port. The SUBMERSIBLE CUTTER PUMP VEXI-20 centrifugal pump has a very important function at Tanjung Emas Port because this pump is used to deal with tidal water at Tanjung Emas Port So that the port is not exposed to tidal water pump maintenance must be carried out regularly Problems or damage that occurs in pump components, what causes damage to pump components, how to maintain and repair them. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive explanation. Writing theqniques by conducting interview directly in the fieldor documentation and literature study are carried out directly with company employes. The results of the author's observations of the authors to collect data and documents. Secondary data is taken from information and books, scientific journals, tensions and other observations in this paper the working principle of centrifugal pumps, how to properly and correctly maintain centrifugal pumps, procedures or processes for dismantling centrifugal pumps at Tanjung Emas Port Semarang Keywords: Centrifugal Pump Working Principle.
