Abstract
The loading and unloading company PT Tera Logistic Indonesia is one of the companies located in the Jeruk Wangi area, Bangsri District in Jepara Regency. It has activities to handle the unloading of coal from the PLTU Jepara at the Tanjung Jati B port of Jepara. This writing aims to study and explain the Procedure for Handling Coal Unloading at the Port of Tanjung Jati B by PT Tera Logistic Indonesia. The data collection method was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely analyzing documents in the form of a collection of written words from people who carried out activities in the field that had been observed by researchers. In addition, data collection was also carried out on the object of research through observation methods, interview methods and library methods. The results of the discussion, it was found that the Procedure for Handling Coal Unloading at the Port of Tanjung Jati B by PT Tera Logistic Indonesia began with an agreement between the owner of the goods and the buyer of the goods or the buyer regarding coal unloading activities at the Tanjung Jati B Port of Jepara, when they had agreed, both parties will show the loading and unloading company to unload their cargo from the loading port to the unloading port. The shipper will issue an unloading order to the unloading company that has been determined to carry out the unloading. Keywords :Procedures, Handling, Loading, Coal
