Abstract
Indonesia is the biggest archipelago country in the world. Therefore, the sea transportation sector plays a major role in the distribution of goods between islands in Indonesia. The sea transportation sector has an important role in supporting the acceleration of development (Haris, et al, 2017: 311). Transportation is used to facilitate humans in carrying out daily activities. Transportation itself is divided into 3 (three) parts, namely land, sea and air. In this case sea transportation plays an important role in the world of international and domestic trade. Sea transportation makes a very large contribution to the world economy where the transportation of goods is an important part of the sea transportation business. The economic potential in sea transportation services is very large, it is inevitable that sea transportation (ships) is the main means of transportation to reach and connect islands in the archipelago and between countries and even between continents (Suyadi and Muflichussalam, 2017: 6). This study aims to determine the completeness of documents, delivery time, type of cargo and price perceptions on the smooth import of goods. The type of data used is quantitative with the sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling. Sampling used in this study as many as 100 respondents. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 25. The results of the hypothesis test show that the variables of completeness of import documents, delivery time, type of cargo and price perceptions have an effect on the smoothness of goods imports at freight forwarders (studies at PT. Link Pacific Indonusa Semarang). The results of multiple linear regression analysis were obtained Y = -0.904 +0.315X1, 0.209X2 +0.201X3+0.332X4+µ from this equation it is known that the most dominant variable influencing the smooth import of goods is perceived price (X4) with a regression coefficient of 0.332. The R2 test (R Square) obtained a result of 0.576 or 57.6%, which means that the smooth import of goods is influenced by the variable completeness of documents, delivery time, type of cargo, and perceived price, which is 57.6% and other factors that affect the smooth import of goods, namely by 42.6%. Hypothesis 1, hypothesis 3, Hypothesis 4 states that it has a positive and significant influence on the smooth import of goods so that it can be well received. However, in Hypothesis 2 it is stated that it has no positive and significant effect on the interest in using services so that it cannot be well received. Keywords: Completeness of Documents, Time of Delivery, Type of Load, Perceived Price and Smoothness
