Abstract

Container loading and unloading activities are one of the activities that support the smooth flow of goods at a port. This loading and unloading activity has several activity processes, including: stevedoring, cargodoring, receiving, and delivery. In loading and unloading activities, loading and unloading companies carrying out loading and unloading activities are required to play a role in facilitating the flow of goods. The smooth flow of goods can be achieved if its implementation is supported by skilled human resources and the use of adequate loading and unloading equipment. If one of these things is not fulfilled, it will cause an unsmooth flow of goods. The consequences of an irregular flow of goods include losses that can reduce company income. If this continues for a long period of time it will result in a decline in employee performance so that loading and unloading activities cannot run smoothly.
