Abstract
Occupational Safety and Health is an activity to create a safe, comfortable work environment and a way to improve and maintain the health of workers both physically, spiritually and socially. The most important component in maintaining work safety, during the Covid-19 pandemic is maintaining one's own health, carrying out sufficient activities to prevent Covid-19 during a pandemic, always keeping a distance when chatting or discussing, and always wearing a mask. The purpose of writing scientific papers This is to find out more about the passenger service process during the new normal era. The method used in this study is a qualitative method which produces descriptive data in the form of written words from the object being studied, in this case collecting data in the form of an approach to the object through interviews with sources of experience, through data related to the passenger service process and goods at the port of Merak - Bakauhueni. From the results of the analysis that I got, it can be concluded that all passengers are required to wear masks and are absolutely obliged to apply health protocols wherever they are in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 which has been set by the new normal government but must prevent it. The conclusion stated is that the application of K3 ( Occupational Health and Safety) needs to be optimized by carrying out maximum checks considering the incidents that have been experienced by the KMP ALS ELVINA ship.
