Abstract

Garment factory. PT.Glory Industrial itself is one of the non-oil and gas export commodities which is quite large in value for Indonesia. This factory has also exported brand clothes to China and Taiwan several times. Every day this factory produces thousands of clothes to be given to distributors. One of the main machines in the processing of clothes is the boiler machine, this machine functions to produce steam which is distributed to the clothes drying room and steam ironing. Boiler or boiler is a device that can produce steam (steam) which can be used for various purposes. The way this tool works is by heating water through the combustion of fuel so that heat transfer occurs from the original liquid form to water vapor. The formulation of the problem obtained from the background is how to treat the water in boiler. From the results of observations it can be concluded that the boiler machine has a big influence on the continuity of production in the industry. Because in the finishing section the ironing stage requires hot steam to iron the production. If the boiler machine is not functioning, the performance will stop and will cause the production process to stop in the industry that is currently operating.
