Abstract
The city of Surakarta is classified as a secondary city or medium-sized city that continues to develop. With an area of 44.04 km2, the city of Surakarta is inhabited by 514,171 people or with a density of 11,674.93 people/km2. The city of Surakarta is also commonly referred to as a cycling-friendly city, this can be seen from the existence of a 25 kilometer special bicycle lane around the city. The aim of this research is to find out the analysis of factors that influence the level of people's desire to use special bicycle lanes in the city of Surakarta. In this study, the respondents taken were residents of Surakarta City who used special bicycle lanes. Data sources include primary and secondary data. The sample in this research was 100 respondents from Surakarta City residents. Data collection was carried out using observation methods, literature studies, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is a multiple linear regression technique which is first tested through a questionnaire test (validity and reliability) and classical assumption tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, normality). The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS V.26 program obtained multiple linear regression equations: Y = 0,917 + 0,301.X1 + 0,250.X2 + 0,303.X3 + µ Based on empirical facts, the results of the multiple linear regression equation show that the Facility Variable (X1) has a tcount of 4.630 and a ttable of 1.99601, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Comfort variable (X2) has tcount 3.514 and ttable 1.99601, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The Security Variable (X3) has a tcount of 5.126 and a ttable of 1.99601, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Meanwhile, for Adjusted R Square = 0.638. This means that the independent variables, namely Facilities, Comfort and Security, have a role/contribution of 63.8% together which can explain/explain the dependent variable, namely the Level of Community Desires (Y). Meanwhile, the remainder (100% - 63.8 % = 36.2%), is the influence of other variables. Thus, the research results show that Facilities, Comfort and Security have a positive and significant effect on the level of people's desire to use special bicycle lanes in Surakarta.
