Abstract
ABSTRACT This research was conducted on Pantura road, Tegal City. This study uses Human Error, Vehicle Conditions and Traffic Characteristics as independent variables, Traffic accidents as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Human Error, Vehicle Condition and Traffic Characteristics on traffic accidents on Road Urban city of, Tegal City. The sample used is the North Coast Road Urban city of Tegal City, where the number of samples set in this study were 100 respondents with the sampling technique in this study using incidental sampling. The analysis used includes validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, partial t test, coefficient of determination, and managerial implications. The results of the analysis using the statistical tool SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solutions) Version 25 program obtained multiple linear regression equations Y = - 0,087 + 0,222 X1, + 0,368 X2 + 0,388 X3 + µ. Multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive and significant effect between Human Error on traffic accidents tcount (2.471) > ttable (1.98472), vehicle condition to traffic accidents tcount (3.299) > ttable (1.98472), Traffic characteristics on traffic accidents (tcount (4,079) > ttabl (1,98472), has a positive and significant effect on traffic accidents. The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained by 47.9% on customer satisfaction and 52.1% was influenced by variables that were not detected in this study.
