Abstract
This research is based on facts in the reality, wich is the problems caused by parking on public roads which are very complex. Starting from disrupting the flow of traffic, parking also makes the city messed up and unorganized. This illegal parking phenomenon is caused by several factors including the attraction of massive trips to an area, the satisfaction of people who use illegal parking, access to legal parking spaces that seem complicated, and the lack of awareness of the vehicle owners in parking their belongings. If this is keep continuing, it is feared that it will be prone to traffic problems such as congestion caused by illegal parking. The problem formulation, purpose of the research and hypotheses in this study were to analyze the positive and significant influence individually between the independent variables, wich is trip attraction, parking user satisfaction, and accessibility to the dependent variable, wich is the decision to use illegal parking on Ahmad Yani Street, Garut Regency. In this study, the object taken was the owner of a vehicle parked on Ahmad Yani Street, Garut Regency. Data sources include secondary and primary data with a sample of 100 respondents who are parking users on Ahmad Yani Street, Garut Regency. In this research using multiple linear regression data analysis techniques with SPSS IBM V.26 tool which produces a regression equation Y = 0.139 + 0.325 X1 + -0.028 X2 + 0.677 X3 + μ. From the results of this equation, the results shows there are positive and significant effect between X1 (trip attraction) and X3 (accessibility) on Y (decisions to use illegal parking) whilst X2 (parking user satisfaction) has no positive and significant effect on Y (decisions to use illegal parking). Then for coefficient of determination R square obtained a value of 30,9% wich caused by X1, X2, and X3 whilst the remaining 69,1 % is caused by other factors.
