Abstract
Abstract This paper was made to obtain a more in-depth picture of the optimization of PT. Admiral Lines, especially regarding the handling of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), actions to occur onboard accidents and improving safety quality.The author uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through direct interviews with the safety quality officer. While secondary data obtained through books, archives and other sources. The data collection method used was observation which saw directly the activities in the field. The results of observations can be concluded that this company is engaged in agency services that serve the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), which this company helps maintain, control the quality of units and drivers so as to minimize incidents of units and drivers. If an accident occurs in the loading process can result in substantial losses to many parties, then PT. Admiral Lines with a safety quality officer who is responsible for controlling the improvement of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in each process of loading and unloading activities can minimize the occurrence of accidents and minimize losses to the company if unwanted accidents occur. In conclusion, with the agency's role as a safety quality officer, it can improve security, smooth operation and minimize losses in the loading process without incident.
