Abstract

This research is motivated by the needs of human life which cause the growth of community mobility. In supporting this, it is necessary to have a means of transportation to facilitate human movement to move from one place to another, but as the use of transportation increases, it causes traffic problems, such as traffic violations that are often encountered. This study aims to determine the effect of traffic law awareness, traffic discipline, traffic socialization, and road infrastructure partially on traffic violations on Jalan Bypass Dharma Giri Gianyar. The population in this study was the number of motorcyclists who crossed Jalan Bypass Dharma Giri Gianyar on February 24 2023 at 12.00-14.00 and the sample of this study was 100 respondents. . The results of the study by partially testing the t-test hypothesis show that awareness of traffic laws, traffic discipline, traffic socialization, and infrastructure have a negative and significant effect on traffic violations. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the research model of the multiple linear regression equation is Y = -1.738 - 0.328.X1 - 0.302.X2 - 0.313.X3 - 0.184.X4 - µ. From the regression equation it can be seen that the most dominant variable influencing traffic violations is awareness of traffic laws with a regression coefficient of 0.328. From the R2 test (R Square) the result is 0.641 meaning that 64.1% of the variation in the dependent variable of traffic violations can be explained by the independent variables of traffic law awareness, traffic discipline, traffic socialization, and road infrastructure. While the remaining 35.9% is explained by other causes outside the variables studied. Keywords: Traffic Law Awareness, Traffic Discipline, Traffic Outreach, Road Infrastructure,Traffic violations.
