Abstract
ABSTRACT The safety of the loading and unloading workforce is based on several factors, including health,worker characteristics and personal protective equipment. Of the three, have an important role in improving the safety of loading and unloading workers with satisfactory results. The purpose of this research is to see there is no influence of the Health, worker characteristics and personal equipment of loading and unloading workers at Tanjung Emas Container Port Semarang In this study, the research population is the Safety of Unloading Workers at Tanjung Emas Container Port Semarang with a sampling system with a total of 90 respondents (sample). The variables in the study consisted of: Labor behavior independent Health (X.1),Worker Characteristics(X.2), and Protective Equipment(X.3) as well as the dependent variable, the Loading and Unloading Workforce Safety (Y). The research model is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis with the statistical tools of SPSS V.25 program obtained multiple linear regression equations Y = -0,746+ 0.401X1 + 0.305X2 + 0.355X3 + µ. The results of the linear equation show that there is a positive and significant influence between The Health on Loading and Unloading Workforce Safety (t count 3.410> t table of 1.98761), The impact on Worker on the safety on Loading and Unloading Workforce Safety (t count 3,073> t table of 1.98761), Personal Protective Equipment on safety of Loading and Unloading Workers (t count 4.613> t table of 1.98761), individually Health, Worker Characteristics and Personal Protective equipment affect the safety of loading and unloading workers. The influence of the three research variables is very strong with the coefficient value (R Square) obtained by 63,4% on the safety of loading and unloading workers and 36,6% of the undetected variables in this study.
