Abstract

ABSTRACT Human error is a form of human error or negligence in doing something that can cause an accident on a ship which has a dangerous impact on human safety. The importance of maintaining health and safety in accordance with the management on board is a very important factor in carrying out every activity on board. Health and safety management on board is an effort to prevent and reduce the possibility of unwanted things happening while carrying out activities on board. The purpose of this paper is to find out about the impact of human error on work safety on ships in an effort to minimize the occurrence of work accidents on board. The data collection method used is observation and literature study. The result of this paper is to find out the causes of human error, the impact of human error, how to deal with human error on ships and the relationship between human error and work safety on board.
