Abstract
ABSTRACT The discussion in the writing of this paper is made to describe the clearance in andclearance out process using the inaportnet system on Motor Vieseel ships starting from the process of the ship docking until the ship leaves the port managed by the shipping company PT Bahari Laju Anugerah Merak Branch. The purpose of writing this paper is none other than to know and explain the licensing role at the time of arrival and departure of the ship using , the documents that must be prepared by the operational party/company so that clearance activities can run smoothly, related agencies in the port area, and obstacles that often occur during clearance activities. Based on data collection carried out during land practice (prada), the author uses several methods, namelyinterviews, observations, and types of data. The result of the discussion in this paperis an explanation that the operational party/company plays an important role in theservice process of ship arrivals and departures in handling ship documents using the inaportnet system.
