Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the effect of operator performance, loading and unloading equipment, and Load Handling partially on the smooth flow of loading and unloading at the Semarang Container Terminal. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on the smooth flow of loading and unloading at the Semarang Container Terminal. The research method used is a quantitative method with a questionnaire method of loading and unloading workers as many as 110 respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The formulation of the regression in this study is as follows: Y = 0,177 + 0,412.X1 + 0,270.X2 + 0,278.X3 + µ The results of the equation show that the Operator Performance variable (X1) has (t count 3.860 > t table 1.98260), the Loading and Unloading Equipment variable (X2) has (t count 3.194 > t table 1.98260), Load Handling variable (X3) has (t count 1.982 > t table 1.98260). As for the value of Adjusted R2 = 0.497. This means that 49.7% of the variation in the dependent variable (Y), namely the Smooth Flow of Loading and Unloading, is explained by the independent variables, namely Operator Performance, Loading and Unloading Equipment, and Load Handling. The remaining 100% - 49.7% = 50.3%, is influenced by other variables outside the research.
