Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is made to obtain an in-depth description of the care and maintenance of safety equipment on the KN SADEWA 231, especially in knowing the various types of safety equipment, how and when to care for it on the ship, the benefits of maintenance on the KN SADEWA 231 as well as the results of solving the solution constraints. For the data used by the author using primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews with field operations and ship crews. While secondary data obtained through books, archives, and other sources. The data collection method used was observation which saw directly the maintenance activities on the KN SADEWA 231 . The results of the study concluded that the maintenance and maintenance of safety equipment on the KN SADEWA 231 carried out by National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) had been carried out regularly but there was no schedule yet. related to the care and maintenance of safety equipment.
