Abstract

Abstract Work accident on a ship is an unexpected and unexpected event, which starts from carrying out hazardous work, which is still common today. It turns out that a lack of discipline and frequent disregard for safety procedures underlies all of these accidents. Based on the monitoring of the IMO (International Maritime Organization) that more than 80 percent of accidents at sea are caused by human error (Human Error). And on the fact shows that 80 percent of human error was caused by a bad management system and 20 percent caused by a bad maintenance system. By frequently conducting training and coordination between ship crews, it will improve the work management system, at least reduce accidents that occur due to human error. The method for describing and describing the object under study, namely the descriptive method is writing that contains descriptions, descriptions and explanations of an object as it was at a certain time and does not draw general conclusions. The need for shipping safety agencies such as SAR to assist ships in the event of an emergency could be one solution to dealing with accidents at sea. So it is very important to work carefully and pay attention to existing procedures, and if an emergency occurs, you should contact the government institution in charge of this, such as National Search and Rescue Agency. Keywords : Work Accident, Procedure, Rescue System.
