Abstract
ABSTRACT The development and growth that occurred in Bekasi Regency was very rapid. The density of vehicles that continues to increase every year causes several problems in the transportation sector. One of the problems that occurs is a traffic accident on the Kalimalang inspection highway, Kab. Bekasi. The frequent accidents that occur result in reduced comfort and can even endanger the safety of one's life. There are three factors that cause traffic accidents on the highway, namely the vehicle factor, the human factor and the physical condition of the road. This research was conducted to determine the magnitude of the influence of vehicle, human and physical conditions of the road on road traffic accidents in Inspection Kalimalang Kab. Bekasi Data collection uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data consists of questionnaire results from the influence of vehicle factors, human factors and road physical condition factors, amounting to 100 respondents. Secondary data consists of data on the number of traffic accidents. This research is one of the quantitative descriptive studies using Multiple Linear Regression analysis, while the tests carried out in this analysis are the F test, T test, and the R determinant test and the SPSS program. Based on research on vehicle factors (X1), human factors (X2) and road physical condition factors (X3) it is concluded that Y = 2.218 + 0.302.X1 + 0.161.X2 + 0.289.X3 + µ. These results indicate that both variables have a significant effect on road traffic accidents.
