Abstract
The port is a terminal for sea transportation which has the main function of raising and lowering passengers, berthing ships, loading and unloading of goods and animals. PBM (Loading and Unloading Company) is one of the business entities providing services in handling the activities of loading and unloading ships. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of unloading dry bulk gypsum carried out by PT. Delta Artha Bahari Nusantara in Probolinggo, to find out the obstacles that arise during the unloading of dry bulk gypsum carried out by PT. Delta Artha Bahari Nusantara in Probolinggo, to find out what steps to take if there are problems during the unloading of dry bulk gypsum carried out by PT. Delta Artha Bahari Nusantara in Probolinggo. The type of research that the writer uses is a qualitative research method by conducting observation interviews by observing directly, and documentation. The loading and unloading process of gypsum, namely after the ship has docked and the required documents are met, the loading and unloading process can begin, the loading and unloading process begins with a survey of the ship first to determine the condition of the ship and the weight of the ship's cargo, the operational team prepares loading and unloading equipment such as Exsavator, Ramp door, Shacke, Sling, and coordinated a fleet of trucks to enter the wharf in turn, the excavator operator filled the trucks one by one with Gypsum loads, one of the operational officers recorded the trucks that had been loaded with Gypsum into the Telly Report as a report, the TKBM officers covered the truck bed with a tarpaulin so that Gypsum cargo is not scattered, before the trucks leave the port, the trucks will be weighed first to find out the total weight of each truck.
