Abstract

Mooring winch is a tool used on ships that serves to moor the rope between the ship and the pier. Mooring Winch is divided into 2 namely electric winch and hydraulic wich. A winch barrel or also called a drum is used to roll steel slings or mooring ropes so that the ship can be moored firmly to land. The warp end is used when propelling the ship by means of a rope or steel wire which is attached to a bollard on land and wound around the warp end of the winch. Based on the writing of scientific papers using the following types and sources of data, namely using qualitative method data types. Based on the writing that has been done there are several factors that cause damage to the Mooring Winch hydraulic system at Kn. Prajapati, namely the instability factor in the operation of the hydraulic mooring winch components such as the pipe clamp that has been damaged, the occurrence of leaks in the hydraulic pipe joints, the pressure control becomes low.
