Abstract
PT PELNI is one of the largest agents in Indonesia that provides services in the field of shipping, so that its role is very large in connecting between islands in Indonesia. The services provided by the PT. PELNI Pontianak branch are very helpful in meeting the needs required by ships at the time of arrival and departure of ships at the Pontianak Dwikora port. By knowing the background of this research, it can be seen that the purpose of this research was to find out the services provided by PT. PELNI Pontianak branch, services in issuing Sailing Permits (SPB), and to find out the services provided to passengers and goods. In this study, it was obtained by using a qualitative research method so that the sources of information came from realities in the field and from interviews conducted with one of the operational teams at Dwikora Pontianak port. From the research that has been done, the results show that the services at the time of arrival and departure of ships, issuance of SPB, services to passengers that have been provided by PT. PELNI Pontianak branch at Dwikora port have all been going well. Keywords: Services, ship arrivals and departures.
