Abstract
Abstract The subject of discussion in writing this paper is the Application System (New Pelni Ticketing System) for Data Management and Ticket Sales on Passenger Ships at PT Pelni Waingpu Branch. There is a background problem that the author must solve, namely regarding the procedure for ordering tickets through the New Pelni ticketing system application, how to deal with prospective passengers who are still not up to date in using the New Pelni ticketing system application, what are the menu features in the New Pelni ticketing application system, the procedure for canceling tickets through the new Pelni ticketing system application and the advantages and disadvantages of using the new Pelni ticketing system application. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the description of the application system (New Pelni Ticketing System) for data management and ticket sales for passenger ships at PT Pelni Waingapu Branch. For the data used by the author using primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained from direct interviews with the company. While secondary data obtained through books and other sources. The data collection method used is observation which sees directly the activities carried out. The results of the discussion of this paper is that it can be concluded that the Application System (New Pelni Ticketing System) for Data Management and Ticket Sales on Passenger Ships at PT Pelni is very important to ensure the smooth purchase of passenger ship tickets on the New Pelni Ticketing System application. Keywords: Ticket booking procedures, overcoming passengers who are not up to date, cancellation procedures and advantages and disadvantages.
