Abstract

Unloading is a process of unloading by transferring cargo from ship to land which is carried to the destination safely and where it is carried out according to procedures at the port by the ship's crew and land parties with the available unloading equipment either from the ship itself or from land. The equipment used in unloading activities will be determined by what goods will be unloaded and in what condition the goods will be unloaded. Types of equipment for container unloading activities at Sluke Rembang Port include Ship to shore (STS), Container Crane (CC), Rail Mounted Gantry Crane (RMGC) RTG, Reach stacker, Top Loader, side loader, HMC, Head Truck etc. Based on the description above, the aim is to prepare container unloading equipment so that unloading activities can be carried out immediately at the Sluke Port of Rembang. The results and impacts obtained in preparing the demolition equipment by PT. Samudra Adhi Jaya seems to be running smoothly so that the container unloading process is according to plan and ensures awareness of work safety both in the port area and on board the ship. The conclusion is the need to increase the sense of responsibility for the tasks carried out by each worker at the Sluke Rembang Port. Keywords : unloading, equipment, container, port.
