Abstract
Navigation aids play an important role as a guide for navigators to always navigate safely, securely and efficiently and to avoid or reduce accidents at sea. Navigation aids are not always in top condition, so they require maintenance and maintenance. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the benefits of maintenance and maintenance of shipping navigation aids in the Class I Marine and Coast Guard Unit area of Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta. The data collection method at this writing uses observation techniques, interviews, and literature studies. Maintenance of navigational aids is useful for maintaining navigational aids so that they work optimally and avoid damage, so as to provide comfort and ease of marking for ships. Treatment is beneficial to restore function if any navigational aids are damaged, so that they can be used optimally in providing signpost assistance.
