Abstract
Human resources (HR) is one of the most important assets. To capture quality human resources, of course, human resource management is needed that is structured and in accordance with qualification standards. This paper will explain human resource management through the recruitment process for the BA 05 crew in the shipping world by PT. Pelayaran Sumber Rejeki Bahari Permai. PT. Pelayaran Sumber Rejeki Bahari Permai is a shipping company located in Ambon. This company has chosen a Navy Company Business License (SIUPAL) and owns 28 vessels. There are several background issues that will be discussed by the author, namely how the recruitment process for the BA 05 crew by the PT. Pelayaran Sumber Rejeki Bahari Permai company, what are the stages that must be passe. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the process, stages, obstacles and how to overcome them, as well as the parties involved in the BA 05 crew recruitment system at the company PT. Pelayaran Sumber Rejeki Bahari Permai. Based on the data collection carried out during the research, the authors used several methods, namely observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of the discussion of this paper are that PT. Pelayaran Sumber Rejeki Bahari Permai is able to prepare and accommodate job vacancies with methods that are balanced with qualification standards so that they are able to create qualified human resources in the shipping sector, because they have gone through five stages of recruitment in detail and thoroughly.
