Abstract
The State of Indonesia is an archipelagic country where most of its territory is in the form of oceans which are used for transportation using sea freight. In the world of business or trade using cargo or bulk carriers, the calculation of the draft survey is the result used as a reference for business transactions and as a reference for determining tax payments to the state. The key in calculating the draft survey is that it requires accuracy and precision to read the ship's draft due to the nature of the waves that constantly crash against the draft mark of the ship. The aim of this author is to find out the implementation process, documents and obstacles as well as the solutions in carrying out the draft survey for loading ordinary cement portland cement ( OPC) bulk at MV. Sakti by PT. Lawana Sukses Nusantara Batam Branch. The data collection method used is a qualitative research method and data collection is used such as observation, interviews, literature study and document study. The results of the observations made by the author are able to find out the implementation process, documents and obstacles as well as the solutions in carrying out the draft survey of bulk ordinary portland cement (OPC) loading on MV. Sakti by PT. Lawana Sukses Nusantara Batam Branch. In the research that has been carried out, the authors draw the conclusion that PT. Lawana Sukses Nusantara Batam Branch has carried out draft survey activities optimally even though there are obstacles that occur can be minimized as small as possible, in order to create fast and optimal draft survey activities.
