Abstract

In writing this paper, the author tries to raise the issue of “Procedure for Ordering Containers Through PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo Semarang”. With the aim of knowing the flow of the container ordering process through PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo Semarang and to find out what documents are needed in ordering containers at PT. Rimo Transport Expressindo Semarang because the success or failure of a container order depends on the procedure for ordering the container. Because one of the obstacles occurred in ordering containers at PT. Rimo Tranport Expressindo Semarang was caused by incomplete documents and did not know the order process flow so that the container order was not successful. The purpose of this researcher is to be more thorough in carrying out container ordering procedures such as container ordering documents, namely Delivery Order, Bill of Lading, Shipping instructions, Equipment interchange receipts which can cause container orders to fail, so before placing an order for containers, the following documents must be submitted. documents are prepared as much as possible, so that there are no errors or obstacles. The data used by the author in the preparation of this paper is qualitative. Field observations, interviews, libraries. The conclusion of this paper is to be able to find out how the container ordering procedure can operate smoothly and safely, and anticipate container orders so that there are no obstacles in the container ordering process.
