Abstract

This paper was written to explain the process of certifying ship crew at the class II Tanjungpinang KSOP office.The Tanjungpinang class II KSOP office is.The Port Authority Office has the task of carrying out supervision and law enforcement in the field of shipping safety and security,coordinating government activities at ports as well as regulating,controlling and supervising port activities at commercially operated ports.According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary,a certificate is a list of names of persons who served as a ships crew authorized by the harbor master.This ship certification service aims to read the ship registration process properly and according to procedures.To achieve this goal the author uses several methods including observation,interview,documentation and literature methods,the result is that coordination and confirmation is urgently needed so that the registration service activities can be carried out properly and can minimize errors both in handling fake documents and services from the syahbandar.
