Abstract
Shipping is part of a very strategic sea transportation facility as well as a supporting facility that can facilitate access to one area connection with another by water. Therefore, the existence of ports has an important role in encouraging a developing regional economy, especially in the trade and fisheries sector so that it can absorb labor and reduce unemployment. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of service and the number of visits by commercial ships at the port of Juwana and to provide knowledge to the people around the port. The method of observation used is literature study, observation and interviews. The result of this observation is that the port must provide a good image on the eye consumers by providing quality service so that consumers feel satisfied and the arrival of commercial ships from 2018-2020 has decreased drastically due to The large number of fishing boats (motorboats) leaning and carrying out loading and unloading activities at the port is able to absorb a lot of loading and unloading power at the port and the existence of fish auctions at the port can increase the interest of the fishing community and fish traders to carry out activities at the port. The port's activity is driven by the existence of a coastal fishing port with fish auction facilities (TPI). Key words: shipping, port, visit, service
