Abstract
Every object or tool always requires maintenance, without exception a ship must get the same treatment. The intended treatment aims to maintain the performance of the ship is always in good condition. Care should be done regularly with scheduled time and planning, so that care between parts one with the other can remain coordinated without any parts left or missed. The treatment here is not only to the ship's physical itself, but also the navigation equipment and ship engines must also get the optimal periodic maintenance. Care done on the ship is useful so that the ship can operate with maximum and can operate according to the schedule of the ship that has been set. The ship's clavicle can also be seen from the maintenance of the vessel itself after passing inspections by the classification bureau and the charterer of the ship. In routine the implementation of maintenance on the ship can create comfort for the crew of the ship and every crew can work optimally because with the condition of the ship maintained all the equipment can be used properly and does not eliminate the function of the equipment.
