Abstract
Indonesia is a country known as a maritime country, most of whose territory is waters consisting of islands. Therefore, sea transportation is very important to connect the islands that are scattered throughout Indonesia. One of the means of sea transportation is sea transportation in the form of ships. Activities take care of all the needs of the ship starting from the initial arrival of the ship until at the port until the time of departure. PT. Andalas Bahtera Baruna Jakarta Barat is a service company engaged in the crewing department. PT. Andalas Bahtera Baruna West Jakarta is acting as a ship crew agent for Cement Carriers. PT. Andalas Bahtera Baruna recruits and selects crew for crews from Indonesia. The crew selection process for PT. Andalas Bahtera Baruna used interviews, tests and orientation for 3 months.
