Abstract
Work safety is one of the absolute factors that must be met so that the crew can work safely and can be maximized. Many crew members work just to fulfill their obligations, without having concern for themselves, others and the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the knowledge and skills of each crew member in terms of understanding and use of work safety tools. The purpose of the research is to improve the quality and quality of the crew and the importance of the use of safety tools in preventing the danger of accidents. In this writing the author uses qualitative descriptive methods, while the data collection methods used are methods of interview, observation and literature related to the importance of the use of safety tools. The role of personal protective equipment in preventing work accidents in MT. Green Plus has not been implemented properly. Barriers that lead to a lack of discipline in the use of PPE in MT. Green Plus include discomfort when using PPE, forgetting because of haste, lack of knowledge related to the procedures for using PPE, feeling that it will not be wretched and lack of training related to the importance of using PPE.
