Abstract
The main discussion in writing this paper is regarding the handling of imported tires at the Bonded Logistics Center carried out by PT. Prosperous Thanks to Solutions. The high cost of logistics in Indonesia has resulted in high prices and decreased interest of foreign investors in Indonesia. The use and function of PLB develops to adapt to the needs of the domestic market and can also reduce logistics costs that must be incurred. The purpose of this final project is to find out how to handle imported tires at the Bonded Logistics Center by PT. Makmur Berkat Solusi which includes processes, documents, agencies as well as obstacles and solutions implemented during the handling. The data collection method in this final project is done by observation, documentation, interviews and literature study. From the research conducted by the author, it was found that in the process of handling imported tires it is necessary to fill out documents, input data in the customs system, and check goods to ensure the physical suitability of goods with data. The delay in the issuance of the Goods Releasing Letter from the customs system results in delays in commodity withdrawals or delays in loading goods. This can lead to additional costs and the risk of damaged goods being damaged at PLB. Therefore, checking documents for PLB is very important so that the process of handling tire imports at the Bonded Logistics Center runs smoothly. Keywords: Import, Bonded Logistics Center
