Abstract
In carrying out its duties, Class II Cirebon KSOP has a role to improve shipping safety towards zero accidents and the role of the Sailing Safety, Guard and Patrol section in the Cirebon port area to reduce obstacles that occur at the Cirebon Class II Harbormaster and Port Authority Offices. To carry out this role based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. 36 of 2012 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the Harbormaster Office and Port Authority, a Sailing Safety, Guard and Patrol section was formed where the duties and responsibilities are divided into more detail, so that sea transportation users realize how important it is to comply with the rules to improve shipping safety and the importance of complying with regulations. related to the safety and security of shipping in the port environment.
