Abstract

The implementation of the data collection and registration process for ship documents & certificates as well as the clearance process is a major problem at Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan (UPP) Kelas III Juwana, because it is one of the factors for the smooth running of the community's business around Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan (UPP) Kelas III Juwana, especially shipping entrepreneurs. Time effectiveness is needed in the data collection and registration process as well as the clearance process. The purpose of the observations made by the author is to determine the procedures for data collection and registration of ship documents & certificates at Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan (UPP) Kelas III Juwana. The data collection method used by the author is by conducting observations (PRADA), interviews with related parties, documentation, and library study methods through journals/documents at Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan (UPP) Kelas III Juwana. The results that the author got while carrying out Praktek Darat (PRADA) at Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan (UPP) Kelas III Juwana was the time effectiveness in the process of data collection and registration of documents & ship certificates at Kantor Unit Penyelenggara Pelabuhan (UPP) Kelas III Juwana. until now still can not be resolved. Because sooner or later the process of data collection and registration of ship documents & certificates greatly affects the smooth business of shipping entrepreneurs.
