Abstract
The use of a crane that is long enough will certainly affect the performance of the hoist which can cause damage to the components of the hoist system. The damage to the control valve and radial piston pump components contained in the hoist system is caused by the frequent carrying of loads that are not in accordance with the crane's carrying capacity, so repairs are made to these components. The preparation of this paper was carried out by observing, documenting, and interviewing directly as the method used. Improvements made to the control valve and radial piston pump components can make the hoist system work optimally. Thus, it can be concluded that based on the importance of knowing the cause of the damage and then making repairs and carrying out proper and correct operations, the authors chose the title "Damage to the Hoist System Components on the Linkbelt Crane During the Loading and Unloading Process on the Buana 02 Barge".
