Abstract

Purifier is one type of aircraft on board that is used to separate fuel or lubricating oil with other liquids of different gravity. This is to be able to clean fuel from liquid impurities . A result of the work of an imperfect purifier , namely pollution. This results in air pollution and inhibits the volume of air needed by the engine. The purpose of this study is to: 1) To find out the treatment , what is done in the DO (Diesel Oil) purifier , 2) To find out the operating procedures , DO (Diesel Oil) purifier, 3) To find out how to overcome over flow on, DO (Diesel Oil) purifier. In this study the authors used qualitative and quantitative data types. In collecting data the writer uses observation method. in the field, interviews, literature studies, documentation and collection of images related to the object of research about the purifier. While the separation process using a bowl arrangement is far more effective and efficient. The working principle of the purifier itself is to use the centrifugal force generated from the high rotation of the motor to rotate the bowl. Purifier or separator is one of the components of a fuel system or lubricating oil that functions as a fuel cleaner and lubricating oil which is the most effective when compared to other components that have the same functions such as filters and sediment tanks.
