Abstract
Productivity of loading and unloading is the output of the level of success of service or use of port facilities or equipment in a period (a specified time) in terms of time units, weight units, comparison ratios (percentages) or other units. Therefore PT. PBM Alam Sejati Semarang is committed to continuously improving service and loading and unloading performance productivity. However, the productivity of loading and unloading of PT. PBM Alam Sejati seen from several periods of time still feels that it has not experienced a significant increase. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the level of loading and unloading productivity related to loading and unloading equipment technology, loading and unloading procedures, loading and unloading workforce and supervision. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of loading and unloading equipment technology, loading and unloading procedures, loading and unloading labor and partial supervision on loading and unloading productivity at PT. PBM Alam Sejati Semarang. This study also aims to analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on the loading and unloading productivity of PT. PBM Alam Sejati Semarang. This research was conducted using the questionnaire method to the company's leaders, employees and loading and unloading workers who participated in loading and unloading activities at PT. PBM Alam Sejati Semarang as many as 60 respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The regression formulation in this study is as follows: Y = 3,566 + 0,387 X1 + 0,271 X2 – 0,234 X3 + 0,284 X4 + µ The results of multiple regression research indicate that there is a partial positive effect of loading and unloading equipment technology on loading and unloading productivity (tcount 2.825 > ttable 2.00172), loading and unloading procedures on loading and unloading productivity (tcount 2.295 > ttable 2.00172) and supervision of productivity loading and unloading (tcount 3.032 > ttable 2.00172). And there is also a partial negative effect of loading and unloading labor on loading and unloading productivity (tcount 2.277 > ttable 2.00172). From the regression equation, it can be seen that the most dominant variable affecting loading and unloading productivity is the technology variable for loading and unloading equipment with a regression coefficient 0.387 and the value of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square = 0.595) means 59.5% while the rest (100%-59.5% = 40.5%) is influenced by other variables outside the study or outside the regression equation model.
