Abstract
Safety is a state of security, in a safe condition physically, socially, spiritually, financially, politically emotional, occupational, psychological, or educational and free from threats to these factors. In a shipping activity, safety is a very important factor and always occurs in order to create shipping lane safety. This study aims to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous supervision, KSOP responsibility, shipworthiness and navigation on shipping safety at Tanjung Intan Port, Cilacap. The population in this study is the crew of the ship with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is non- probability sampling with the type of sampling, namely census/total sampling. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of (Software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results of the hypothesis test show that the Supervision, KSOP Responsibility, Shipworthiness and Navigation variables have a partial effect on Shipping Safety at Tanjung Intan Port, Cilacap. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Y = -2.260 + 0.279X1 + 0.356X2 + 0.208X3 + 0.332X4 + . From these equations, it is known that the most dominant variable affecting shipping safety is the KSOP Responsibility variable with a regression coefficient of 0.356. The R² (R Square) test obtained results of 0.648 or 64.8%, which means that Shipping Safety at Tanjung Intan Cilacap Port is influenced by the variables of Supervision, KSOP Responsibility, Shipworthiness and Navigation, which is 64.8% and other factors that affect Safety Shipping at Tanjung Intan Cilacap Port is 35.2%.
