Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of document services, loading and unloading productivity, pilotage services and ship arrival time on waiting time for ships at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II Tanjung Pandan branch. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents of ship operators, using probability sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. This study aims to determine the analysis of the factors that affect the length of waiting time (waiting time) ships at the port of Tanjung Pandan. Data was collected through observation, literature study, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS V.26 program. based on the results of research and multiple linear regression analysis, the equation: Y = 15.326 - 0.308 X1 -0.220 X2 -0.178 X3 + where the Variable Waiting Time for Ships (Y), Document Service Variable (X1) has a t-count (-3.449) > t-table (1.98525), Loading and Unloading Productivity Variable (X2) has t-count (-2.598) > t-table (1.98525), and Pilotage Variable (X3) has t-count (-1.065) > t-table ( 1.98525). and Variable Ship Arrival Time (X4) has t-count (-1.417) > t-table (1.98525). while for the Adjusted R Square value of 0.657, which means 65.7% of the variable waiting time for ships can be explained by the variables of document service, loading and unloading productivity, scouting services and ship arrival times, while the remaining 34.3% is explained by other variables outside the four variables used in the study.
